Chico State Athletics

Treyson Keating is an emerging collegiate basketball coach with a strong foundation in player development, program operations, and team leadership. He competed at the University of California, Santa Cruz from 2019–2024, where he developed a deep understanding of the game and a commitment to high-level performance.

Currently, Keating serves as a Graduate Assistant for the Chico State Men’s Basketball program while pursuing a Master’s degree in Kinesiology with an emphasis in Coaching. He will graduate this year and is actively preparing for a career in college basketball coaching.

In his role at Chico State, Keating contributes to all facets of the program, including managing social media, assisting with recruiting efforts, supporting player development sessions, coordinating travel logistics, and helping prepare for practices and games. His experience across team operations, combined with his academic training and playing background, positions him as a dedicated and detail-oriented coach committed to the growth and success of student-athletes.
