Biography
Pre-Chico Days
- A graduate of Jesuit High School (Sacramento, Calif.)
- Earned First Team All-Delta League honors
- Began his college career at Sacramento State (2021-23), where he appeared in 11 games before redshirting his sophomore year due to injury
- Played at Santa Rosa Junior College (2023-24), averaging 17 points, 6 rebounds, and 5 assists per game while shooting 55% from the field and 41% from three; named Big 8 MVP, First Team All-Conference, and California All-State
- Transferred to Sonoma State (2024-25), where he led the CCAA in assists (5.0 apg) and assist/turnover ratio (2.1), averaging 14.1 points and 2.0 steals per game en route to CCAA First Team honors, Newcomer of the Year, and Male Athlete of the Year
Club
- Played five seasons with the Soldiers (Sacramento, Calif.) and was named MVP at three AAU events
Personal
- Son of Kellie and Chris Holley
- Has one sister, Kamryn
- He chose Chico State because it’s a great school and an ideal fit academically and athletically.
- His greatest sports moment was going 16-0 in high school.
- Outside of basketball, he says his best talent is making people laugh.
- The best advice he has ever received came from his dad: “Just keep going.”
- Majoring in Communication with a minor in Sports Media
