Chico State Athletics

After winning several North Section titles between track and cross country while at Fall River High, Handa took his abilities to Cal State Fullerton where he became one of the Titans top runners and a solid competitor in the Big West Conference.  After two years at Fullerton Brent has decided to transfer to Chico, and from initial workouts and time trials, the future appears to be quite bright.  Handa won the team’s annual 8k time trial in 24:52 after an initial two mile split of 10:20 and appears to be in the best shape of his life.  Handa has plans to red shirt the 2009 Harrier season as he has yet to use a red shirt season, but a final decision might not be known until mid-season.
