2020–21 Highlights:
Earned CCAA All-Academic honors for the 2020–21 academic year…Received the Division II Athletic Directors Association Academic Achievement Award.
 
2019–20 Highlights:
Averaged 75.1 stokes per round in three tournament appearances, including a pair of top 20 finishes…Posted a 74-73-71-218 and an 11th place finish at the October 14–15 Sierra Central Wildcat Classic…Posted two sub-par rounds on the season…Shot low round score of 1-under par 71 October 15 at the Sierra Central Wildcat Classic, and October 22 at the Otter Invitational.
 
Pre-Chico Highlights:
A 2019 graduate of Adlai E. Stevenson High School in Lincolnshire, Illinois…Helped lead the Patriots to the Illinois High School Association Regional championship in 2016, an IHSA Sectional crown and a third place finish in the state finals in 2017, and a North Suburban Conference crown and a second place state finals finish in 2018…Three-time All-Conference selection…Named All-Region twice…Earned All-State honors and received NSC Sportsmanship Award in 2018…Holds three school records…Won 17 junior golf events: four high school tournaments, five playing in the Hurricane Junior Gold Tour, and eight as part of the Illinois Junior Golf Association.
 
Personal:
Born May 5, 2001, in Vernon Hills, Illinois…Son of Thomas and Sandy…Has two older brothers, Daniel and Kevin…His parents are his heroes (“for giving me a strong work ethic and always pushing me to do my best and follow my goals. My swing instructor John Andrews is also a hero of mine for religious and faith purposes, and helping me get through tough times”)…The people he most admires in the sports world are Michael Jordan and NHL hockey player Artemi Panarin (“What I admire about Michael Jordan is his work ethic and competitiveness and his desire to win at any cost. I admire Panarin for his positive outlook and for his ability to deal with adversity”)…Favorite course at Chico State is Anatomy, taught by Gary Lechner…Chose to attend Chico State “for the location and the weather, allowing me to practice all year rather than spending it through the Chicago winters. I also felt welcomed by the coach and teammates”…His greatest sports moment is making a 33-foot putt in front of a large crowd to win a high school tournament…The most interesting thing he’s ever done is jet ski in Maui…The most impressive thing he’s ever accomplished is breaking high school records both on the individual and team level…Has learned by playing golf “that you have to be patient. Even when you’re putting in all the hours and it seems like you’re stuck, you have to stay positive and patient until the results come”…Enjoys watching every Chicago Blackhawks game, going to the gym, volunteering around, and watching comedy when he has some free time…Hig biggest talent outside of golf is “finding a way to make people laugh”…Owns a collection of hockey jerseys (many of them signed) and Air Jordan shoes…At the top of his bucket list: “Travel all over the world (in particular Europe and Australia”…Best advice ever received came from his parents: “Do what you love and you’ll never work a day in your life”…Majoring in exercise physiology…Hopes to play golf professionally.
