I felt I had to prove myself to other schools, but Chico State met me right where I was and I thrived my freshmen year because of that”…Her greatest sports moment was shooting even par at Sonoma Golf Club on the second day of the 2018 NCAA Championships (“I remember getting away with some not so perfect shots and learning that golf is just like that sometimes”)…The most interesting thing she’s ever done is playing in a televised tournament called the Nature Valley First Tee Open at Pebble Beach (“I was paired with a player on the Champion’s Tour and ate lunch in the same room as Tom Watson”)…The most impressive thing she’s ever accomplished is winning a persuasive speech tournament in college (“I was just impressed with myself because it was only my freshmen year”)…Has learned by playing golf to “stay patient and stay positive. There are so many opportunities in a round of golf to make up for hard holes. Life is kind of the same way. Big or small challenges may come your way, but they way you choose to respond is half the battle”…Enjoys reading and hiking (“Upper Bidwell Park has been my oasis during COVID-19”)…Loves to write…All of her school mascots from kindergarten to college have been cats (Bengals in elementary school, a lion in high school, and the Wildcats in college)…At the top of her bucket list: “Live in Italy for a couple of months”…Best advice ever received came from Wildcat head coach Heather Fegley: “Don’t think”…Majoring in public relations.
