                        2017–18
Began the fall with a 32nd place finish at the Riverside Invitational (22:05 time)…Placed 47th overall at the Capital Cross Challenge, helping the ’Cats to a team win in the Division II competition…Concluded the regular season with a 27th place run at the Western Washington Invitational as the ‘Cats No. 7 runner…Placed 23rd at the CCAA Championships, recording a 21:53 PR for the 6k distance…Helped the ’Cats to a third place NCAA West Regional finish with a 35th place effort…Ended the season as the team’s alternate for the NCAA Championships…On the track, raced to a 37:09 10k at the San Francisco Distance Carnival…Recorded a 4:55 1,500m PR at the Chico Twilight Invitational…Notched another PR, this time at the 5,000m distance with a 17:25 run at the Bryan Clay Invitational…Earned All-CCAA status with a second place finish in the conference meet’s 10k final, concluding her sophomore season…CCAA All-Academic award winner.
 
2016–17
Enjoyed a solid maiden year of running in uniform despite a late-summer injury that pushed back the start of her cross country campaign…Opened season with a 74th place finish at the Capital Cross Challenge…Enjoyed a nice San Diego homecoming while placing 15th at the Triton Invitational and finishing as the Wildcats’ third runner on the day…Earned All-CCAA honors with her 13th place finish at the Conference Championships, giving the ’Cats seven of the top 13 finishers overall…Named the CCAA Newcomer of the Year…Placed 31st at the NCAA West Region Championships…Put a bow on her freshman cross country campaign with an 87th place finish at the NCAA Championships…Began the track and field season coming off injury and raced into shape as the season progressed…Opened with an 18:18 5k at Sacramento’s Hornet Invitational…Ran a 37:25 10k PR at the San Francisco Distance Carnival…Ran a 4:58 1,500 meters at the Chico Twilight Invitational while placing third in her heat…Reduced her 5k PR to 17:44 at the Bryan Clay Invitational…Concluded the track season as a part of the ’Cats’ CCAA 10k 1–4 sweep, placing third with a new PR of 37:05.
2015–16
Redshirted both cross country and track & field during her true freshman year…Started fall season with an impressive 24:19 at the team’s preseason 4-mile time trial, where she placed 10th…Despite a hard fall at mid race, placed eighth overall at the Garin Park Invitational… Finished 21st at the San Francisco State Invitational, finishing less than a second behind teammate Lora James, who was the team’s fifth and final scorer on the day…Concluded season with a fourth place finish at the Doc Adams Invitational and followed with a 17:54 5k track PR in the team’s postseason time trial…Injuries resulted in an abbreviated track season…Opened with an 18:00 5k at the San Francisco Distance Carnival…Raced to a 5:01 1,500m mark at the Woody Wilson Classic…Concluded the spring with a second 18:00 5k run at the West Coast Last Chance Invitational.
 
Pre-Chico Days
During her career at El Capitan High School in Lakeside, Carpenter established herself as one of the top distance runners in the San Diego Section…Placed among the top-10 at the San Diego Section Cross Country Championships in three different seasons, placing as high as fourth…Finished third at the Mt. SAC Invitational as a junior, posting a PR time of 18:55…Grossmont League 3,200-meter champion during her senior year…Placed second in the 3,200 meters at the San Diego Section track championships with an 11:01 PR to qualify for the state championships.
