2012-13: Enjoyed a breakout season during the fall of 2012...Earned first All-American honor with a 14th place finish at the NCAA Championships...The finish tied the best ever placing by a Wildcat at the national championships...Placed 7th at the West Region championships helping the women’s team to their first regional title since 2008...Earned her first All-CCAA certificate with a fourth place finish at the conference championships...Placed 44th out of 292 finishers at the Stanford Invite...Opened the season as the ‘Cats 4th runner placing 22nd at the West Coast Preview invitational...On the track Mikesell placed 2nd at the Aggie Invite 3k with a 10:18 PR...At the Wildcat Invite notched another PR (4:51) for the 1500m...Ran the 10th fastest 5k in school history with her 17:17 PR at the San Francisco Distance Carnival...Again stamped her name in the school’s all time lists with an NCAA qualifying 35:51 10k PR at the Mt Sac Invitational...Placed third in the CCAA 5k final earning All-CCAA honors...Finished season with an impressive 9th place finish in the 10k final at the NCAA Championships.

2011-12: The hard working Mikesell opened the season with an 18th place finish at the Humboldt Invitational followed by a 51st at the Willamette Invitational...Covered the competitive Bronco Invitational 5k course in 18:33 to earn a spot on the Wildcats' CCAA championship team...Placed 22nd in 22:14 on the 6K Santa Rosa course...Capped her season with fine 20th place finish at the Doc Adams Invitational in 21:56 for 6k...On the track, worked her way well through the season notching personal records in the 1,500, 5K, and 10K...Her 37:09 10K was good for a terrific 4th-place finish at the CCAA championships in Los Angeles.

2010-2011: Finished 12th at the UC Davis Doc Adams Invitational…Placed fourth at the Santa Clara Invitational with a 5K PR of 18:29…Finished 72nd at the Willamette Invitational with an 18:48 5K performance…On the track, finished one spot shy of earning All-CCAA honors in the 10K…Ran an 18-flat 5K, narrowly missing her PR, at the Chico Twilight Invitational…Ran a 38:40 in her first 10K at the San Francisco State Distance Carnival…Ran a PR of 10:41 at the Aggie Invitational 3K.

2009-2010: Redshirted both cross country and track during freshman year…Ran to a 39th place finish in the Open race at the Irvine Invitational. Finished 86th at the San Francisco State Invitational (24:45 6k)…Concluded season with a 19:34 run at the Almond Bowl 5k…On the track, focused on the steeple and 5k events, posting PR’s of 12:28 and 18:52, respectively…Her 5k PR good for 16th place in her heat at the San Francisco State Invitational.

High School: A standout runner for Bret Harte HS in Arnold…Individual section champion (DIV) during her senior year of cross country…Finished 17th at the state championships with a time of 19:03 on the Woodward Park course.
