2012-2013: Enjoyed a solid first year with the ‘Cats...Despite fighting the flu finished 102nd at NCAA Championships...Finished 11th at West Region Championships earning All-Region honors...Placed fifth in the CCAA Championships earning the “Newcomer of the Year” award and All CCAA honors...Finished 44th at Stanford Invite helping the ‘Cats to a third place team finish...Placed 21st at West Coast Preview Invite...Redshirted on the track but competed unattached...Ran to a 14:39 5k PR at the Occidental Invite...Recorded a 30:51 PR for the 10k at the Mt Sac Relays...Recorded a 3:59 PR for the 1500m while winning his heat at the Chico Twilight... Broke 15 minutes for the first time while recording a then PR of 14:40 at the SF Distance Carnival.
Pre-Chico: A transfer from San Diego Mesa CC...A top runner for Thom Hunt’s squad, placed 8th at the San Francisco State Invitational, recording a 25:31 effort on the 8K course...Concluded his sophomore season with a huge 5th-place run (20:16) on the Woodward Park 4-mile course...On the track, qualified for the State Championships in the 10,000 meters, placing 5th in the final.
