AMARILLO, Texas — The Chico State women's golf team was ninth through two rounds of the WT Fall Invitational at Tascosa GC - La Paloma, posting team scores of 316 and 300.

Emilee Canepa led the Wildcats individually, tying for 17th after rounds of 76 and even-par 71. Canepa played steady golf throughout the opening 36 holes, tallying just six bogeys across the two rounds. Gabriella Fanucchi finished the day tied for 21st, opening with a 75 before posting a 2-over 73 in the second round.

Canepa and Fanucchi also ranked among the top 10 players in the field in par-4 scoring through the first two rounds.

Ariana Blagrove finished the day tied for 43rd with rounds of 78 and 80. Sienna Mayo tied for 52nd after following an opening-round 87 with a 78 (+7), while Sophia Magaña finished the day in 56th, highlighted by a second-round 78 (+7).

Chico State returns to the course tomorrow for the third and final round of the 54-hole event.
