Riding a six-game win streak and ranked in the National Association of Basketball Coaches Top 25 for the first time this season, the Chico State men's basketball team will try to keep rolling Friday night when it hosts UC Santa Cruz in a non-conference game in Acker Gym Friday at 7 p.m.
The 25

They'll resume conference action next Thursday at home against Cal State Dominguez Hills before hosting Cal State LA next Saturday.
Chico State is currently in three-way tie for second place in the CCAA standings with Cal State San Bernardino (receiving votes in the NABC poll) and Cal Poly Pomona (ranked No. 20) at 8-2. NABC No. 5 UC San Diego leads the way at 9-1.
Chico State will be facing UC Santa Cruz for the first time since 1993 on Friday night. The Wildcats are 2-1 all-time against the Banana Slugs, including 2-0 at home.
The game will be broadcast locally on FM 93.9 KPAY.
