CARSON, Calif. - The Chico State Wildcats continued their dominance on the road Saturday night defeating CCAA conference foe, Cal State Dominguez in four games (17-30, 30-23, 23-30, 21-30). The win was the Wildcats seventh in their last eight games.
The Cats are now 11-4 on the season, 4-1 CCAA, and remain ranked 20th in national rankings.
Lindsay Macias and Lacy Stringfellow led the charge for the ‘Cats with a strong one-two punch. Macias tallied 17 kills, six digs and three blocks. Stringfellow added 24 digs to lead all competitors on the night.
Erica Brick continued her strong offensive play accumulating 40 assists in three games. Brick also helped lead the ‘Cats to their dominating first game win as she rallied off 11 straight points, three short of the CCAA record.
The Wildcats return home to take on CSU Monterey Bay on Friday, September 28 and host Sonoma State on Saturday, September 29. Both games have a 7 p.m. start time and will take place in Acker Gym.
