ROHNERT PARK, Calif. - Jade Smith-Williams scored a career-high 18 points, while Audriana Spencer finished with 15 points, 10 rebounds, and six assists as the Chico State women's basketball team rolled to a 73-59 victory over Montana State-Billings Saturday night in Rohnert Park.
The game wrapped up a school record nine-game road trip for the Wildcats, who improved to 8-3. They went 6-3 on the road trip, which eclipsed a trio of seven-game road trips the Wildcats have taken in the program's history.
Montana State-Billings fell to 3-6 despite Alira Carpenter's game-high 23 points.
Chico State, which entered the weekend ranked No. 12 in the nation, returns home for its third and fourth California Collegiate Athletic Association of the 2007-08 season Jan. 4 and 5 against Cal State Monterey Bay and San Francisco State, respectively.
