Take a look down the Chico State women's basketball stat sheets, and one constant always seems to stand out – the offensive contributions of sophomore guard Whitney Branham. The Stevenson Ranch native has scored 10 or more points in all but two of the Wildcats' games this season, including back-to-back double-digit performances last week against Fresno Pacific and Cal State San Marcos. Branham's ability to score consistently – and often – makes her the latest Wildcat of the Week.
 
Branham averaged 15.5 points over the two contests while also contributing nine rebounds, three assists and three steals. She also knocked down 15 of 16 foul shots to boost her season free throw average to 85.7 percent.
 
Tuesday Branham hit two 3-pointers and led the Wildcats with 15 points against Fresno Pacific, followed by a 16-point performance in Saturday's home game versus Cal State San Marcos. She also paced the 'Cats with seven rebounds against the Cougars and dished out a pair of assists.
 
Branham is averaging 11.5 points a game so far this season and is ranked fifth in the California Collegiate Athletic Association (CCAA) in free throw percentage. 
 
Branham and the Wildcats play their final pre-holiday game Saturday, traveling to Rohnert Park to take on the Sonoma State Seawolves. Chico State winds up the calendar year at Acker Gym Dec. 31 with a New Year's Eve matinee against Cal State L.A.
