Every time Lisa Webster finds the back of the net, she  solidifies her standing as one of the top strikers in Chico State  women’s soccer history. The senior from El Dorado Hills continued her  climb up the Wildcat career ladder by connecting for a pair of goals  over the weekend tohelp the ’Cats beat Cal State Monterey Bay and Cal  State East Bay, and for her efforts Webster has earned the Wildcat of  the Week award.
Friday, Webster knocked home the winning goal in the 62nd minute of  Chico State’s 2-1 victory over Cal State Monterey Bay. Against Cal State  East Bay on Sunday, Webster got the Wildcats on the scoreboard with  agoal in the 35th minute as the Wildcats went on to beat the Pioneers  3-0 and improve to 4-3-1 on the season and 4-2 in CCAA play.
Webster, who leads the ’Cats with four goals, two assists and 10 points  on the season, currently ranks ninth in Chico State history in goals  scored (18), seventh in assists (16) and seventh in career points (52).
Webster and the Wildcats return home to University Soccer Stadium this  weekend, taking on Cal State Stanislaus on Friday and Humboldt State  Sunday.
