Pre-Chico Days
A 2020 graduate of Tracy High School…One of the Bulldogs’ top sprinters…Four-time All-Tri City Athletic League selection…Earned team Most Inspirational honors…Twice named team MVP…Set new school record in the 400m dash (58.24 seconds) at the 2019 Sacramento Meet of Champions…Set new 400m dash meet record at the County Clash.

Born February 28, 2002, in Fairfield…Daughter of Michael and Silvia…Has two younger siblings, Donovan and Devin…The person she most admires in the sports world is Olympic and World champion sprinter, Allyson Felix (“for her advocacy towards women’s rights in the sports industry that was surrounded by her pregnancy. She bounced back while disregarding critics and proved to the world that women are capable of amazing things and shouldn’t be overlooked”)…Her dad is her hero (“He has been one of many people in my life to believe in my athletic abilities and encourage me to strive for what I want”)…Favorite course at Chico State is Managerial Accounting with Amy Griffin…Chose to attend Chico State “because of the initial welcoming environment that I had witnessed. Everyone was so friendly and treated each other like a family which I had always wanted when being on a team”…Her greatest sports moment is “signing with Chico State to further my track careeer”…The most interesting thing she’s ever done is travel the world with her family to countries such as Japan, Belize, and Europe…The most impressive thing she’s ever accomplished is breaking a 27-year old 400-meter dash record during her junior year in high school…Has learned by competing in track & field that “I have complete control on my mindset and goals that I want to achieve”…Enjoys playing video games when she has some free time…Says that playing the saxophone is one of her biggest non-sports talents…At the top of her bucket list: “Go backpacking in Europe”…Best advice ever received came from her club track coach in high school: “Hard work is our best friend”…Majoring in business management…Plans to continue her education by getting her MBA in accounting.
