- Chose Chico State because 'I love the proximity to home and wanted to play for a program with a history of winning.'
- Outside of sports: 'I have developed a passion for teaching and feel like I am good at it.'
- His greatest sports moment thus far was getting the chance to play in a junior college state championship game
- Cites getting his Associate's Degree as a great accomplishment outside of sports
