She is the woman I aspire to be when I am older. Her work ethic is like no other and she amazes me every single day. She is very kind and selfless, but also very strong-willed. I hope I will be at least half the amazing woman that she is one day”)…The person she most admires in the sports world is San Francisco Giants All-Star shortstop Brandon Crawford (“Not only is he a stellar athlete, but he is humbled and composed on and off the field. Humbleness in the sports world is something that I praise the most within myself and any other athletes”)…Chose to attend Chico State “because of the location and successful softball program. It’s not too close and not too far from home, and the team has been very successful in the past”…Her greatest sports moment is hitting a home run on her senior night of high school, and in that same game, belting a walk-off grand slam in her final career at-bat…The most interesting thing she’s ever done is jet ski off the coast of the Florida Keys…The most impressive thing she’s ever accomplished is raise and sell a market steer at the local county fair, winning Reserved Supreme Champion honors…Has learned time management and selflessness through playing softball…Enjoys camping at the lake when she has some free time…Claims that baking is her biggest talent outside of softball…Says “since I am an only child, my parents like to call my dogs my “siblings”…At the top of her bucket list: “Designing my own house”…Best advice ever received came from her parents: “Perseverance is the key to overcoming obstacles in life”…Majoring in business marketing…Plans a career in the real estate business.
