As a Freshman (2023)
- One of three true freshman on the roster
- Played in 10 games, including a start against Cal State East Bay on April 2
- Went 4-for-13 with 4 RBIs
- Had a 2-for-3 day with 2 RBI in the start against East Bay

Pre-Chico Days
- A 2022 graduate of Granada Hills Charter High School in Los Angeles
- Helped lead Highlanders to the 2022 West Valley League title, earning league MVP and First Team All-City honors
- Nominated for CalHi Sports All-State Team as a senior
- Two-time First Team All-WVL selection
- Began his prep career at Cleveland High School in Reseda

- Son of Salvador and Jenny
- Has two siblings, Ileana and Adia
- His hero is his Little League coach Mike Smith (“He sparked my love for the game at a young age. He taught me how to have fun on a field while still respecting my opponents and continues to be present in my life. He is someone I can always lean on and always has great advice for me whenever I need it”)
-  The person he most admires in the sports world is Mike Trout (“He is arguably one of the greatest players in the history of the sport who still plays with humility. Mike is a great role model for many young players, including myself. Consistency and greatness is what he delivers year in and year out. It is what I hope to bring to every team I play on”)
- Favorite course at Chico State is Speech Communication Fundamentals, and his favorite instructor is Ann Steckel
- Why he chose to attend Chico State: “Besides having an extremely successful baseball program, Chico offered a beautiful campus with a welcoming and diverse culture. The business program as well was spoken of highly”
- His greatest sports moment was making a diving catch and throwing out a runner at home plate in the bottom of the 7th inning, ending the game and clinching his team’s league title
- The most interesting thing he’s ever done is go ziplining in the rainforests of El Salvador
- The most impressive thing he’s ever accomplished is “being given the opportunity to play baseball at Chico State”
- Has learned by playing baseball that the game is one of failure (“Failing more often than you succeed can be frustrating. Playing this game for so long has taught me how to handle failure in my everyday life and I’m extremely grateful for it. I wouldn’t be who I am today without baseball”)
- Enjoys working, playing video games, and driving around in his car when he has some free time
- Considers weightlifting his biggest non-baseball talent
- Though lefthanded, he kicks a soccer ball with his right foot
- At the top of his bucket list: “Swim with sharks”
- Best advice ever received: “If no one is hating on your dreams and aspirations, then they aren’t big enough. Dream big, miss small”…Majoring in business finance
