Redshirted both sports in his first year at Chico State…Ran a limited cross country campaign due to summer injury...Opened the fall with a 26:53 8k at the Doc Adams Invitational….On the track, had another abbreviated season due to injury…Raced to a 4:07 1500 meters at the SF Distance Carnival…Sliced a second off his seasonal best for 1500 with a 4:06 run at the Chico Twilight meet…Raced to a 4:04 1500-meter PR at Cal’s Brutus Hamilton Open…Concluded season with a 4:07 at the West Coast Last Chance Invitational.
 
Pre-Chico Days 
Placed third in the North County League cross country championships as a junior at Del Norte High School in San Diego…Finished sixth in the San Diego Section cross country championships as a senior, qualifying to compete at the state championships…Placed 28th in the State Championships, posting a 15:53 PR on the Woodward Park course…Two-time Avocado East League champion in the 1600m event…Placed sixth at the San Diego Section championships in the 1600, notching a 4:18 PR.
