ANAHEIM – The Chico State basketball commercial produced by Chico State Athletics Marketing Director Jeff Kragel and Morgan Schmidt of the Chico State Academic Technologies Media Productions Department were honored with a Silver award at the National Association of Collegiate Marketing Administrators (NACMA) annual convention Wednesday. The commercial was named the second best among all NCAA Division II, NCAA Division III and NAIA institutions in the nation.

“It’s been a phenomenal year for our entire athletic department and I’m proud our commercial can now be added to that long list of accomplishments,” said Kragel. “Morgan Schmidt and his crew of Rick Vertolli and Randy Wells in Media Productions deserve all the credit. They did a beautiful job from start to finish.”

Colorado College’s “Get Your Growl on” hockey commercial received the gold award, while Ferris State’s hockey commercial earned bronze.
