CHICO – Due to wet field conditions and rain forecasted throughout the afternoon, Saturday’s scheduled noon doubleheader at Nettleton Stadium between Chico State and Simpson University has been cancelled. The games will not be rescheduled.

Thanks to the wet weather, the series against Simpson – Chico State’s only pre-conference tune-up of the 2010 season – was over almost as soon as it had begun. The Wildcats were only able to get three-and-a-half innings in Thursday against Simpson before rain halted the proceedings.
