SANTA ROSA – The Chico State women’s golf team finished the day where it began Tuesday – in seventh place. The Wildcats carded a team score of 341 to finish seventh at the Sonoma State Women’s Invitational, played at the Santa Rosa Golf & Country Club.

Shelby Hooper recorded her second straight 11-over par 83 and finished 27th overall. Erin Sears (82-85–167) and Megan Chang (80-87–167) finished tied for 28th. Tiara Wells (83-86–169) finished tied for 31st, and Whitney Vau (91-89–180) finished 40th.

The Wildcats wrap up the 2009 Fall campaign next week at the Lady Otter Invitational, hosted by Cal State Monterey Bay, next Monday and Tuesday.
